Some Exciting News

well it may not be exciting to you but it certainly is exciting for me. Last night when I got home from work there was a message on my machine and it was a lady from the school. The message basically said hello this is so-and-so from the community college and i was just called to see if you wanted to graduate this year. I was like, uh, yeah?! I should call her and be like "no I don't want to graduate I want to be in school for the rest of my life". So I'm going to give her call next week so I can fill out the application for graduation! Yay! I've been waiting like two years for this moment i only need to take one advanced math class which I will be taking in the spring. as long as I get a C I will graduate with my associates in general education. I will then be applying to the radiology program. I am hoping and praying that by already working in the radiology department at the hospital that i wont have to wait 5 years. That's how long the waiting list is. Then when I am finnished with the radiology program I will have my 2nd associates degree in Radiology Technology and hope to trasfer to the university to specialize in MRI where I will earn my bachelors degree.

St. George

My friends and I just got back from a great 3 day 3 night vacation in St. George Utah. It was a much needed get away. Just the three of us enjoying Utahs Dixie with not a care in the world and no adults! We mostly just hung out at the condo and Saturday night we went to and had a nice dinner and saw Tuacahns production of Les Miserables. It was amazing!

So I went to the podiatrist today with some serious foot pain that has been bothering me for a few days so after a few xrays and some ultrasounds turns out i have bursitis in my heels and tendonitis along the outsides of both of my feet! all that translates into OUCH!

so the only thing i can really do is wear some orthodics (ew!) and take some ibuprofen...and hopefully it goes away...if it doesn't then i will have to get custom made shoes, which I definately dont want and certainly cant afford.

Spring Cleaning

Well I just thought I would write a quick update.
My mom has finally gotten it in her that we need to clean and de-junk our house, which I have been waiting forever to do. We got all new windows the really nice double paned ones. We've gotten a lot of miscellaneous furniture and junk out to storage so we can work on a few smaller projects. We got a storage unit so we could paint and not have to put all of our furniture into the kitchen. This will also help because we're going to get our carpets cleaned too. A new couch and a new desk and or dresser for my mom. Once everything is finished our house will look like a million bucks

Update

So I'm officially done with working in the cafeteria. I'm a little bit sad in that I wont be able to see my friends as often. Working in the radiology department is down in the basement and if I'm not down there then I'm out on the floor moving patients. I am glad to be leaving right before summer. There is a really nice patio and grill set up out side. I can only imagine how busy its going to be during the summer. It was starting to get busy before I left with all the shakes, ice cream and smoothies I had to make! I seriously went though like 3, 5 Gallon tubs in a day! its ridiculous! Spring semester is over and I actually did really well in my class! I am taking a math class during the summer then I only have 2 more classes to take in the fall. Then I can apply to the Radiology Program. I will be picking up more hours in the Radiology department to help save up for my new Charger. I'm so excited to get one! In a few more weeks my friends and I are all taking a nice long road trip down to St. George then down to Vegas! I'm very much looking forward to it since I haven't had a vacation in a couples of years.

Final Days in the Cafeteria

Atlast I have put my two weeks notice in at the cafeteria at the hospital. I have been working there for a little over a year and I can say that I'm going to miss it. When I first started at a different hospital I wanted to quit after the first week but I stuck in there. I made many good friends. When we switched hospitals in October I again wanted to quit and again sucked it up and made it though. I have got to say that opening a new hospital is quite a challege and being short staffed all the time made it worse. By Christmas I was looking for a new position elsewhere. I was days away from just walking out and never coming back but something told me I needed to stay and here it is May! I lasted for a whole year! I have found the position I've been waiting for and I have been there for almost two months! I thought about quiting have the first week in the Radiology department. I have realized I love this job! Its very rewarding and quite easy actually! I'm hoping that by working in the department it will give me the lead I need to get into the Radiology Tech. program.

Thats all for today!

Exciting Day in the E.R.

So today I had the first opportunity to work in the E.R. transporting patients. I have to say it was quite an interesting experience. I was really scared at first because I hadn't worked in the E.R. before and I didn't know my way around. After the first patient I was fine. I actually like it more then my usual routine. I didn't see anything too out of the normal and there were no trauma cases that came in. Everyone I moved to the X-Ray department was really nice. They knew I was there to help them. I'm not a nurse so I technically can't give them any medications or anything like that. The only thing that I have going for me is my warm smile, my friendly personality, and a reassurance that everything will be OK. I will be working there tomorrow and am looking forward to it.

Oh one thing I forgot to mention, a certain someone had lunch with me today.

First Blog

Well I think it's about time I showed up here. I really hate the idea of blogging, in that people pouring out their whole soul into something that most people don't care about really irritates me. I'm not here to tell you about every little detail of my life but just to touch on the important things.

So now just a little bit about my self. I finally got the job I have been waiting over 6 months for and love it. I am finnishing up my generals so that I can apply to the Radiology program and hope top be done with that in about two years. I have recently had the opportunity to discover who my real friends are. I have the most amazing friends anyone could ask for. They would probably do any thing for me and I for them.

Although I lost a supposedly good friend, in the end its a huge stress that I no longer have to deal with. In a few years I hope they realize that real friends dont come around that often. So when your sitting at home, when your 25+ with your mom and dad and a supposed terrorist, who doesnt like you like that, when your supposed friends from work are gone, your dog is dead and your sister is off and marriend I hope you have fun sitting around doing nothing with your supposed "successful" life. Don't even bother trying to regain my friendship.

To those of you reading this it may sound very harsh on my part. If you only knew the whole story, you would know how self centered and immature this person is.

I've wasted too much time on this and now its on to something much more positive.

So...a few days ago my friend and I went test driving cars. I have made the decisoion to get a Dodge Charger SRT V8. My plan is to have it with in two years before high school reunion. I am absolutely in love with this car. I drives so well and I mean look at it, its sexy!!! My friend is getting one in silver and I'm getting it in white. Yes you should all be very jelous. How is it that a 22 year old can afford such a sweet ride? By working her butt off is how.

Now that I have touched on a few things I will leave you untill next time.
